Description: Recommend DACs were assessed by analyzing low-income (80% County AMI), pollution burden (75th percentile in CalEnviroScreen 4.0 indicators), and additional County-specific indicators like the NVTA Equity Priority Communities, CHA indicators, linguistic isolation, and civic participation. Low income census tracts and block groups were identified using US census data. Census tracts were identified using each CalEnviroScreen's pollution indicators. County-specific indictors from CHA were not spatially mapped but evaluated in a table that is provided in the BDR Chapter.
